Stars Vipers Focus Groups

The Stars Vipers Tumbling Program, also known as FOCUS Groups, goal is to help every child build confidence in their tumbling skills while making sure each child feels safe and included in the program. FOCUS Groups instruct athletes at a 5:1 athletes to instructor ratio. We feel this is the optimal ratio for proper instruction that gives athletes and instructors the ability to connect, critique and properly train to gain skills. The coaches of Stars Viper believe that every child can accomplish anything if they put their mind to it. Our highly trained, certified coaches ensure every member of our team is safe, develops their skill, and—most importantly—has fun.

Our KINDERtumbling program is full of fun, active, and engaging tumbling instruction for ages 3-5-year-olds! Children will learn the fundamentals of tumbling. Our aim is to bring tumbling to everyone as we focus on the fun of learning while developing essential coordination, social skills, listening, and gross motor skills.

Basics Tumbling is for athletes ages 5 and up! NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! Basics tumbling class teaches athletes Forward Rolls, Backward Rolls, Handstands, Cartwheels, Round-off’s, Bridges, and Bridge Kickovers.

Back-Handspring Classes are split into two levels.

Level 1 is for athletes ages 6 and up! Beginning tumbling skills must be mastered to enter this class. This class teaches both running and standing BackHandsprings. This class is for athletes new to learning the single round-off back handspring and standing back handspring.
 
Level 2 is for athletes ages 6 and up! Beginning tumbling skills and Back-Handspring Level 1 must be mastered to enter this class. This class teaches both running and standing multiple back handsprings. This class is for athletes learning round-off back handspring and standing back handspring without a spot and mastering multiple back handsprings both running and standing.

Tucks & Layouts Class is for athletes ages 6 and up! BackHandspring skills must be mastered to enter this class. Tucks & Layouts Class teaches athletes running tumbling to a tuck and then layout, standing tucks, and standing tumbling to a tuck. Front tumbling includes Front Handsprings and Punch Fronts. 

Fulls Class

Fulls class is for athletes ages 6 and up! Layouts must be mastered to enter this class. Fulls class teaches athletes running tumbling to twisting skills (Fulls, Doubles, Arabians, etc.) in addition to Standing tumbling to fulls. Front tumbling includes Punch Fronts, Front Handspring Fronts and Front layouts, and Front Fulls.

Elite Tumbling is for athlete’s ages 6 and up! Fulls must be mastered to enter this class. Elite Tumbling teaches athletes running tumbling from double fulls, whips, Arabians and other bounding skill, in addition to standing tumbling to twisting.

Sideline Cheer Class is for athletes 10 and up! No skill requirements for this class. This class is for athletes wanting to focus on preparing for school cheer tryouts, learning cheer & chants, voice projection, and jumps. A great class for junior high, high school cheerleaders, and athletes with an interest in being a school cheerleader.

Acro Tumbling Class is for athletes ages 5 and up! Beginning tumbling skills must be mastered to enter this class. This class teaches Acro tumbling. From learning the walkover both forwards and backward to aerials and other "Acro" style tumbling skills.

Jump class is designed to help strengthen, condition, increase flexibility and improve athlete's jumps for cheerleading. Whether your a school cheerleader, all-star or have an interest in cheerleading, this class will help you get your jumps to the next level.

Flyers Class is designed for athlete's to learn, strengthen, condition and gain flexibility for Flying. This class will consist of stretching, learning and drilling body positions, flying on stunt stands, and conditioning needed for safe and proper flying.
